Blackstone Ranch Institute is now a co-sponsor of National Geographic’s annual Explorers-in-Residence gathering at National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C. At this weeklong assembly, the organization’s leading explorers and scientists meet to network and present findings from their work.

At this year’s gathering, Blackstone Ranch Institute will be offering a challenge grant for the most innovative new projects proposed by participants. Explorers must work collaboratively to come up with innovative ways of responding to the greatest planetary challenges.
