Voices for Biodiversity

El Prado, New Mexico

Voices for Biodiversity is a grassroots, online, multimedia participatory organization that shares the stories of people from around the globe about their relationship to other species and the environment. Our primary focus is on sharing the voices of those who usually would not be heard: indigenous and local peoples, students, and others with direct experience with these issues.

Voices for Biodiversity is based on the belief that humanity must shift from an anthropocentric worldview to an eco-centric worldview if we are to prevent a catastrophic biodiversity collapse. Our principle approach is storytelling about human beings’ connections with the environment and other species and about human failures and successes in caring for ecosystems.
