Architecture 2030 is a non-profit, non-partisan and independent organization that was established in response to the climate change crisis by architect Edward Mazria in 2002. It’s mission is to rapidly transform the U.S. and global buidling sector from being the major contributor of greenhouse gas emissions to being a central part of the solution. Its goal is to achieve a dramatic reduction in the greenhouse gas emissions of the world’s building sector by changing the way buildings and developments are planned, designed and constructed. It’s 2030 challenge for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from the build environment has been embraced by a wide diversity of architects and builders around the world.
